Shar Haley, RN, CRRN, CCM, SPHR has years of experience as a case manager, business manager, HR specialist, and fitness for duty. She has consulted with Dr. Brady for the past 12 years on fitness for duty, physician coaching, and health professionals' wellness issues.
Leah Nelson, M.D.
Leah Nelson, MD, MS, is the Medical Director of the NM HPWP. She is board certified in both Addiction Medicine and Preventive Medicine/Public Health. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, and completed her residency and fellowship at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Nelson’s work with HPWP includes performing assessments for impairment from substance use, medical conditions, and mental health concerns. She also discusses drug testing results, reviews medical records, coordinates with other treatment providers, works with participants who are struggling to ensure fitness for duty, and performs exit interviews for HPWP “graduates.” She is honored to work with the Health Professionals of New Mexico and aims to help HPWP participants thrive in all domains of their lives.
Mary Lynn Griffin
Mary Lynn Griffin, MA, LMHC, LPCC provides assessment, referral, case management and co-managing the NMHPWP Clinical Program. She also provides administrative support and outreach.
